    Now, follow these steps to create 2 perfect cups with your Chemex:<\/strong><\/p>

    • Place the filter in the Chemex filter in the coffee maker,\u00a0<\/span>making sure the thicker side of the three-layer filter is oriented towards the spout of the Chemex.<\/li>
    • Fill the drip kettle with water and boil it until it reaches 200\u00b0F. <\/span><\/li>
    • Use the kettle to moisten the filter with hot water to preheat the Chemex, focusing on the thicker side of the filter, and then discard the remaining water.<\/li>
    • Weigh 30 g of Finca Carrizal coffee and, if necessary, grind it to a medium grind. Then, pour the ground coffee onto the Chemex filter.<\/li>
    • Place the Chemex on the scale and zero it out.<\/span><\/li>
    • Start the infusion with 100 g of water for 1 minute, then pour up to 250 g and wait for it to drain almost completely for about 2 minutes.<\/li>
    • Perform the second pour in a circular and uniform manner until reaching 500 g of water and let the coffee filter completely for about 4 minutes.<\/li>
